For The Beauty Of The Earth

£4.00

The Choir of Seaford College Chapel - Directed by Philip Hill, Organist: David Bell

A memorable collection of hymns, carols and anthems, including several items in Gregorian chant. Some of the hymns are universally popular; others not so well-known but equally deserving of inclusion. The thirty boy choristers, aged 11-18, have gained an international reputation. The choir has visited Canada, Norway, U.S.A., Luxemburg, Berlin, Finland, Paris and Versailles, and the Netherlands. On a return visit to Moscow they were accompanied by a BBC television crew, and their tours have included Brussels and NATO Headquarters. Engagements in London include recitals for Her Majesty the Queen, and her Majesty the Queen Mother at St. James Palace. The choir appeared in the highly-acclaimed film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.
