This unique London born and based singer-songwriter was initially discovered by Hawaiian music producer Roy Sakuma, who first flew him to Honolulu to perform at the Ukulele Festival of Hawaii. Simon’s impressive performance prompted the recording and release of his album ‘Songs from a Small Guitar’ which taps into his vibrant Pacific adventure, whilst at the same time remains true to his innate musical foundations. Simon subsequently worked with Grammy winning producer Peter John Vitesse and completed a national UK tour supporting Platinum sellers The Soldiers. During this tour, ITV charmingly referred to him as ‘The Singing Builder’ – a reference to his days spent working in the construction industry. Simon had a cut on German legends The Lords’ 2014 comeback album ‘Now More Than Ever’ with rock track ‘Can’t Sleep’ then decided to return to action himself with 2016 pop single ‘Nigella’ - an affectionate, fun tribute to iconic TV chef Nigella Lawson. He is currently composing for a new album ahead of a return to the recording studio in 2017.
