Hobo Chang are a 5 piece band from North-East Essex. They write originial songs which sound like a 'psychedelic funky train ride'. They are experimental and soulful, with their roots in blues, jazz, reggae and rock. Members: Fiona Harmon - vox Nick Munt - Guitar Polly Haynes - Bass Phil Pain - Keyboards, Rhodes Andy Kearton - Drums Tom Eyers - Drums sometimes They have headlined some fantastic venues, festivals, live radio shows, charity gigs, wakes, boats and the occasional unconventional wedding. They have gigged with Lee Scratch Perry & The Upsetters, John Cooper Clarke, Toots & The Maytals, Imperial Leisure, The Vibrators, The Beat, Easy Star Allstars, Buzzcocks, Geno Washington, King Ayisoba and many more well known artists. They have a strong fanbase, support from local press, healthy social media presence, you tube plays, internet radio plays and have had tunes played on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Essex Introducing and BBC Suffolk Introducing. They produce and release their own EPs and Albums and all artwork, promo and merchandising is done by the band.
