Collette Cooper is a jazz and blues influenced solo artist whose self-funded debut studio album City Of Sin was co-produced by Dan Lipman and mastered by Tim Young at Metropolis Studios. The album is an eclectic piece with dramatic, dark, theatrical and sometimes ironic, comedic tones, set on a backdrop of blues and jazz. It was recorded live straight onto tape using the finest console featuring her band of highly acclaimed jazz musicians and is difficult to fit into any box owing to its unique sounds. Collette's high calibre style and visually dramatic performances leave audiences enchanted and wanting more with her raspy, haunting vocals. She is often compared to such icons as Edith Piaf.
