Rock artist Chris Mars was born and raised in London, studying piano, guitar and vocals from the tender age of 6. Following his school years, Chris played a variety of music in the top night clubs around London where he met up with Top 10 80s chart band, A Flock Of Seagulls, playing keyboards and backing vocals on their USA and Canadian 1986 tour. Chris has written and recorded songs with Russell Bell, guitarist from Gary Numan's 'Tubeway Army' and in 1991 he was appointed lead singer for a band consisting of some of the world's best session musicians for the weekly Sky TV variety show 'The Happening'. He later joined Damian Wilson's DWB band on their 2009 tour as keyboard player and backing vocalist and was also vocalist and keyboard player with the ‘British Rock Collective’. Chris has played literally thousands of shows across Europe and is proud to have written with a number of distinguished musicians including Elvis Costello's drummer, Pete Thomas.
