Musician and songwriter Andrew Blake is quickly amassing an impressive catalogue of songs including his debut album, The Last Time. After graduating university, Andrew began his career singing in a band with a production deal. During this period he moved into writing his own material, as well as for other artists, defining his skills as a musician and writer.
This led him to work with legendary producer Steve Brown (Freddie Mercury, Wham, Elton John), writing for his artists and composing for TV, theatre and radio - his last collaboration with Steve being premiered on Radio 1.
Friendly, passionate and collaborative, Andrew's talent and flair both as an artist and composer has given him many opportunities for success. Most recently he’s been asked to write and perform for the Royal Academy of Dance, and become involved in BBC Introducing. He has an insatiable thirst for classic songwriting and has the time and ability to put every inch of creative energy into first-class music for any commercial brief.
